The older brother of the popular actor Eddie Murphy is dead.. Popular Comedian known as Charlie Murphy has died at 57.

According to Murphy’s manager, he died on Wednesday morning in a Newyork City hospital..  

He’s been battling with leukemia and has been undergoing chemotherapy according to reports from his manager also.. His family members who said they were shocked about his death because it appeared to them he was recovering..

He  co-starred on the Chappelle’s Show and has featured in films like, Our Family Wedding, King’s Ransom and CB4. Before his death he was to make appearance on popular movie series Power.
