Woman Ties Her 15-Month Baby To A Rock For Hours So That She Could Hustle. (Photos)

This 15 month-old Shivani is always tied with a plastic tape to a rock by her mother at a building site in Ahmedabad, India -so that she and her husband can hustle. The baby spends nine hours a day in the heat, attached to the tape marked "caution."

Sarta Kalara, her mother, says she has no option but to tether Shivani to the stone despite her crying, while she and her husband work for 250 rupees ($3.80) each a shift digging holes for electricity cables in the city.
