A second woman campaigning to become an anti- Vladimir Putin MP has had sexually explicit pictures revealed by the pro-Kremlin media. Maria Baronova, 32, was shown topless and kissing her 20 year old female campaign manager in hacked mobile pictures.
A known opposition activist, mother-of-one Ms Baronova wants to be an independent MP in parliamentary elections on 18 September.
She has not commented directly on the leak but said she “would like to discuss her breasts” after the campaign is over.
The other woman in the latest racy pictures, Polina Nemirovskaya, claimed the images were from her hacked mobile.
“Something happened a month and a half ago, I had a lot of different messages to all my accounts, maybe it is due to this,” she said.
Ms Baronova is supported by Open Russia, a pro-democracy grouping led by Moscow’s former richest tycoon Mikhail Khodorkovsky, who was jailed for a decade after opposing Putin.
