A four-year-old boy was miraculously saved after being involved in a deadly rollover accident. A semitrailer carrying full truck of coal had a rollover at a crossroad of Linyi city, east China’s Shandong on January 30, 2017, crushing a sedan with a family of 5, including two children. Passers-by immediately came to rescue.
At the time of the accident, the semitrailer overturned to the left side with a 90-degree on the street and crushed a Volkswagen Golf that severely deformed one side of the vehicle. With the pouring coal blocking the other side, it was impossible for the 5 victims to make their way out of the sedan.
Firefighters arrived at the scene and cut the vehicle’s frame with a hydraulic expansion clamp, and managed to pull the four-year-old boy out from the back seat after another 20 minutes. Seeing the rescued boy in good health condition, the passersby cheered.
The rest of the victims were pulled out one by one afterwards. Unfortunately, three people in the sedan died after the rescue.
