This is the shocking moment a teenager fell to his death from a bridge by one of his friends. Daniel Faustino Pinto Filho was playing with pals on a bridge in Brazil when he plunged into a river after allegedly being pushed. The 18-year-old and two friends were filmed balancing on the side of a bridge over the river Jamari in the municipality of Itapua do Oeste, in the western Brazilian state of Rondonia.
Two jumped off onto the ground, leaving Daniel standing on the ledge. A member of the group, said to be a 21-year-old woman but not named in reports, is seen reaching towards Daniel and appears to make contact with his knee.
He fails and then topples off the bridge backwards. A girl shrieks and then the camera is dropped.
Daniel’s body was found 14 hours later by firefighters.
According to some witnesses, the teen did not know how to swim and was drunk when he was balancing on the bridge rail.
Witnesses and the woman who is alleged to have pushed Daniel were released after being arrested by the police . It is not clear whether any charges were brought.
The investigation is ongoing.
