The death of popular Nollywood actress Moji Olaiya has been met with sad reactions and some of her colleagues have taken it upon themselves to ensure that she gets a befitting burial.

And at some point, there was talk of Governor Fayose of Ekiti state offering to sponsor the burial seeing that Moji was from Ekiti state. New information reaching NAIJ seems to suggest that not only has Governor Fayose reneged on the alleged agreement he had with the organizing committee, he also denied not knowing who Moji Olaiya is. This was revealed by Kayode Salako, husband of actress Foluke Daramola Salako.

He also alleged that former Lagos state governor and APC Chieftain Bola Tinubu has steeped in an smoothened the process in ensuring that Moji gets a befitting burial.
Also, Foluke Daramola herself has corroborated her husband’s claims revealing that the burial committee has not received any favorable news from Governor Fayose or the Ekiti state government.
