A 27-year-old woman has suffered horrific burns to her face and hands after sulphuric acid is thrown over her by a stranger. Li Wenwei was on her way to work in Yunnan Province, south-west China when the incident took place earlier this month. She is now recovering in hospital. Police have arrested three suspects, one of which is Li's ex-husband, who she claims was the man behind the attack.
