Being a Pastor’s child in this part of the world is not an easy task because anything you do, whether good or bad is attached to your father’s religious status.
People expect you to live like an angel without considering that you are humans too. These people sometimes look out for their flaws. They can tell what you do, eat and wear.

1. They are regular church goers
Pastor’s children will have to attend every church programme weather they like it or not. Attending church services is one thing they cannot escape. You have to attend mid-week service, prayer meeting, Sunday services, special service and even House fellowship.
2. They are prayer warriors
You cannot miss vigil because it is not an option. You can bank on them for prayers, they are used to it.
3. They are early risers
Waking up early is their hobby, whether going to church or not. Pastor’s children will have to wake up early for prayers.
4. They do not go home early
Apart from being the first to get to church, they will also be among the last set of people to leave the church premises.
5. They are role models to other children
Everybody expects you to be a saint because you are pastor’s child. Any mistake you do brings a lot of criticism.
6. They are bible scholars
Pastor’s children will always be bible scholars because they go for bible quiz and they are not expected to fail.
7. They are nicked named ‘pastor’s child’
Anything you do is attached to your father, your name, your character and way of life. Like you are the pastor.
8. They are restricted from certain things
As a pastor’s child, you don’t get to do what other children do because you are restricted. You cannot watch or listen to secular music and movies, just gospel songs and dance.
