<div class="wpInsert wpInsertInPostAd wpInsertAbove" style="margin:5px;padding:0px"><div class="fb-like fb_edge_widget_with_comment fb_iframe_widget"><span style="height:20px;width:79px"></span></div></div><p><strong>Meet the desperate single mum who was so terrified of mounting debt that she turned to prostitution.</strong></p>       <div style="float:right;margin:5px 0 5px 5px">  <div id=""ad1″">  <ins style="display:inline-table;border:none;height:250px;margin:0;padding:0;width:300px"><ins id="aswift_2_anchor" style="display:block;border:none;height:250px;margin:0;padding:0;width:300px"></ins></ins></div>  </div>  <p>22-year-old Nicole Parke borrowed a total of £500 from two companies   in May last year after being made redundant from her full-time job as a   hairdresser.</p>  <p><a href="http://www.informationng.com/2013/07/18-true-story-why-i-became-a-prostitute-photos.html/nparke1" rel="attachment wp-att-110642"><img alt="nparke1" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-110642" height="1039" src="http://cdn.informationnigeria.org/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/nparke1.jpg" width="620"></a></p>    <p>Unable to find work, the mum of two needed the quick cash to pay for food and bills.</p>  <p>But with her credit cards at maximum, a large overdraft and   increasing interest on her loans, Nicole, from Hackney in east London,   hit rock bottom.</p>  <p>By the end of May the debt on the payday loans had risen to £1,175 and had taken the total she owed to her creditors to £20,000.</p>  <p>With bailiffs knocking on her door, escorting seemed the only way to make money quick enough to control her mounting debt.</p>  <p>She signed up to an online escorting agency and within a week she was entertaining her first client.</p>  <p>She says: "I never imagined my life would end up the way it did.</p>  <p><img alt="photo" src="http://img.naij.com/n/01/3/nparke2.jpg" vspace="5"></p>  <p>"I've always been independent so having to turn to payday loans to be able to feed my family and pay the rent was terrifying.</p>  <p>"I thought it would solve my problems but it just made things worse.</p>  <p>"With £5,000 nursery fees, £5,000 on my credit cards, my overdraft,   rent arrears, utility arrears, council tax and two payday loans, I ended   up £20,000 in debt. Escorting was a last resort, the only way I could   get paid fast enough to stop the interest from mounting."</p>  <p>Nicole created a profile on the escorting site using the name Tami.</p>  <p>She says: "When I called the agency I was shaking but I thought if I didn't go ahead with it I might end up homeless.</p>  <p>"While it was a relief to know I'd finally have some money coming in, the overriding feeling was fear.</p>  <p>"I met my first client at a hotel. I wore my tightest dress, a   push-up bra, stockings, high heels and had my bag packed with condoms.</p><div class="wpInsert wpInsertInPostAd wpInsertMiddle" style="margin:5px;padding:0px">  <ins style="display:inline-table;border:none;height:15px;margin:0;padding:0;width:468px"><ins id="aswift_3_anchor" style="display:block;border:none;height:15px;margin:0;padding:0;width:468px"></ins></ins></div>  <p><img alt="photo" src="http://img.naij.com/n/02/8/nparke3.jpg" vspace="5"></p>  <p>"I'd started pulling out my hair with the anxiety of my mounting debt   and this just made it worse. I wondered if the man would kill me or   beat me up."</p>  <p>Despite her fears, Nicole went ahead with the arranged meeting in June 2012, a month after taking out her first payday loan.</p>  <p>She explains: "As he opened the door, my client smiled and looked me up and down and I knew he was interested in one thing only.</p>  <p>"I let him undress me and we slept together. It was horrible but luckily he didn't last long.</p>  <p>"He didn't talk afterwards, he just thrust £100 at me, opened the   door and I left. I was relieved I hadn't got hurt and having £100 meant I   had enough money to keep us going for another week and pay off some of   the interest."</p>  <p>After that first appointment Nicole was seeing clients three to four nights a week and earning around £1,800 a month.</p>  <p>It was enough to begin to pay off her debts, bills and feed her family.</p>  <p>She says: "I told friends I was doing various jobs, never the truth,   and they'd babysit my kids. At the end of my first month I was close to   quitting as I'd almost paid off all my interest and thought I'd be OK.</p>  <p>"But when one of my kids asked if he could go to playschool, I went out escorting that night so I'd have the money for it."</p>  <p>She eventually made enough to clear the debt of the payday loans.</p>  <p>In September 2012, Nicole saw her last client and has since begun looking for hairdressing work.</p>  <p>She says: "I've been looking for another job ever since. Although I   just manage to pay the bills with my Jobseeker's Allowance, I'm never   going back to escorting.</p>  <p>"I live in a hostel with my children now but I've not given up hope of building a better future.</p>  <p>"We might not be rich but we're healthy and we're getting by."</p>  <p>Source: UK Sun</p>

At a point in time, I asked if it's not the same   man that was all over me before we married.  <br><br>He nearly got me   off my career.  He called me severally; I did not pick his calls but   when he realized my silence was tormenting him, he took to Facebook.  <br>It's alright.  <br><br>Ask   him when did he come to my house last? He left me here in my rented   apartment with nothing and he will just dash in and dash out. He   asked me if he should sell it and that if he does, he will buy me a new   car and a rent me a new apartment.  <br><br>Why now? I don't need all   that, I want my sanity. I respect him to the end but he chose to treat   me that way. He said he wanted to clip my wings. <br><br>After Funke ignored him, he sent her another text abusing her and calling her names. <br><br>"So you can see that he does not mean well for me," Funke re-iterated. <br>  <br>E24-7   checks revealed as at Saturday evening that Kehinde was combing the   nooks and crannies of Ikorodu to locate Funke's dad's house. <br><br>Now that the cookie has crumbled, Kehinde has been calling and sending text messages, begging her to come back.<br><br>He boasted: "I will do anything to win my wife back."<br>  <br><br>Observers   of the marriage from inception feel that when fame and money come to a   meeting point in a relationship, it will result in problems if the   couple are not committed and disciplined. <br>Funke and Kehinde rarely spent substantial time together even at the peak of their marriage. <br><br>Both kept to hectic schedules by virtue of their chosen professions. <br>  While   Funke is often involved in back-to-back shooting on movie sets, Kehinde   jumps from one   construction site to another; pressing buttons for his   political ambitions; and  keeping dates with his wife at home and other   women by the side. <br><br>This sort of arrangement invariably makes   keeping faith with the vows of the union very difficult. Tonight they spoke about their fears when they leave Biggie's House and   have to be a couple in the real world. <br> <br> The two were kissing   outside near the Jacuzzi when Angelo said Beverly smelled like smoke.   Obviously she would be smelling of smoke from the cigarette she was   smoking next to him but Angelo needed Beverly to understand that it's   not nice kissing a girl that smokes yet he doesn't. <br> <br> But when   all that had subsided the two went into serious mode with their   conversation straying from smoking to them pursuing their relationship   in the outside world. Beverly said that Angelo terrifies her because   she's fallen in love with him so fast. "I try to deny that I love you   because I'm thinking it's too early to love you when I don't know how   you are in the outside world," she said concerned. <br> <br> Angelo   understood where she was coming from but also had the same fears as   Beverly did. "To be honest, I'm also kind of scared of knowing you on   the outside," he told her. But Beverly quickly defended herself saying   she has told him everything about her and whatever he hears on the   outside should not matter. <br> <br> She then asked him a question he   was all too happy to answer. "Can you marry a person like me?" she asked   almost shy. Angelo didn't hesitate to answer. "Yes, but would you marry   someone like me?" he asked as well. She agreed saying that she would   have no choice because she loves him. Is that wedding bells we hear? <br> <br> Do you think Beverly and Angelo will tie the knot in the outside world?

So here is our conversation (partly redacted to get right down to all the juicy parts) about everything.<br>   <br> <b>So what is all this wahala about Davido blocking you off of his <span class="IL_AD" id="IL_AD6">facebook</span>?</b><br> <br> Pendo : If people had done even a little research, they would Davido does not even have a <span class="IL_AD" id="IL_AD1">Facebook account</span>. I NEVER said I was in touch with him through Facebook. I got in touch with him through a good friend of his *redacted*  and that's where everything started. He did the intro.<br>  <b> </b><br>  <b>So, seriously, did you sleep with Davido? </b><br><br>Pendo:   Errrrrrrrrrrm (laughs cheekily) (There is IRREFUTABLE proof that Pendo   did spend the night with Nigerian superstar, if you want to see it plead   with her on twitter @LoveStaicey to release it.) In the meantime, have   this picture of Davido, topless, in his hotel room from his personal   instagram. Maybe Pendo took it # troll<br> <b><br> So why did you do this? Do you do this for money?</b><br> <br>   Pendo: (Laughs) No, I didn't get money from him. I didn't WANT money   from him. I did it simply cuz I find him hot and he is pretty legit in   the music industry in Africa. Yeah, I am attracted by his talent, his   fame, his power, but honestly, who isn't? Definitely the best…(hesitates) Ok maybe not the best I ever   had, but he is up there. <br><br><b>So was this a one night stand or will you be seeing him again? </b><br><br>Pendo:   Davido is not only a good lover but a gentleman. Not only did he not   publicise the affair, but he left me with some personal mementos to   remember him. I don't think a one night stand does that. Plus there is   still communication going on. I'm not saying we are dating, but we are   definitely still talking. He did not "hit it and quit it". <br><br>Watch   this space to see if Pendo goes to visit Davido in Nigeria. <img class="attachmentimage img" src="http://img1.nairaland.com/attachments/1225051_omowummi_jpgf0b5c5802444170321ed8040386e36ea"><br>According to information available to us, the Warri-born   singer-cum-actress has been alleged of attacking a photo-journalist at   an event held in Lagos recently.<br><br>While carrying out his lawful   duty, the photo-journalist, Adekola Bamigbala attempted to take pictures   of Omawumi, but little did he know that danger was lurking around for   him, as the singer allegedly pounced on him, snatched his big camera and   with it, dealt him heavy strikes in the face in quick succession, which   gave Bamigbala a swollen face. It was big and strange flashes, not from   his camera, but from alleged assaults from Omawumi that the journalist   could see.<br><br>Nigeriafilms.com called Omawumi, but a lady, who   claimed not to be her, refused to speak with us when we explained why we   called. But the voice Nigeriafilms.com heard sounded like Omawumi,   which made us to believe probably the singer is not willing to speak   with us on the matter.<br><br>Nigeriafilms.com immediately sent an SMS to her (Thursday), which has not yet been replied to four days after.<br><br>However,   Nigeriafilms.com called the victim, who explained the incident to us.   Bamigbala wondered why Omawumi would descend so low to attack him.<br><br>When asked if they have had issues before that day, Bamigbala said he can't remember any.
