A suburban commuter train in Munich was struck by terror this morning as a knife-wielding man stabbed and killed one passenger, and seriously injured three others. Gruesome photos from the scene show the platform covered in blood as forensics probe the area following the 5am attack at Grafing train station.
Eyewitnesses say the young man was screaming "Allahu Akbar" during the alleged attack.Authorities have identified the suspect only as 27-year-old "Paul H".
He was arrested soon after the incident, which took place at Grafing S-Bahnhof in the suburban Ebersberg area of the city.
