On Thursday, September 1, a new born baby was miraculously rescued from a 30-feet pit latrine in Narok County, Kenya. Eyewitnesses revealed that, they saw a woman carrying a baby heading to the pit latrine which was located close to a slaughter house but when she was coming out, she no longer with the baby.
However, after a while an officer heard the cry of a baby and he immediately went to check where it was coming from. After his attempts with other workers of the slaughter house failed, they called the police who used a long rod to rescue the baby. The toddler newborn was rushed to Narok County Referral Hospital for emergency treatment. Police have launched a manhunt for the woman whom residents believe had the sole intention of killing the baby.
