The “Snapchat King” was been tapped one of the speakers for a “Rights and Responsibilities” seminar which took place in Abuja today. the aim of the event is to talk about social media engagement with youths.
He’ll also be going on “tour” to the UK very soon.
But What is making headlines is that While we were still reeling in shock, Bashir Ahmed, Special Assistant to the President on New Media announced he would not attend a New Media conference because Bobrisky was on the same panel.
The good people of Nigeria were still trying to absorb this news when Alder Consulting, another member of the panel announced they where also pulling out. Why you may ask? Because Bobrisky is on the panel.
According to Alder, Bobrisky’s inclusion “radicalises what should otherwise be a serious discourse on new approaches to media”
