A dog was spotted casually hitching a lift on the back of a horse on a country lane. Proudly balancing bareback on its trusty steed, the pooch appeared completed unfazed by its rather unusual behavior.

The bizarre sight was witnessed by joiner Richard Ward, 20, on a country road on the outskirts of Exeter, UK, last Thursday.
