SHOCKING: 18 People Killed In China After An Overloaded Bus Plunges Into A Lake. (Photos)

18 people have died in a road accident in central China on December 2. A bus carrying some 20 people plunged into a lake in Ezhou City in the early hours of the morning with two people managing to escape.

According to reports, the vehicle which has a maximum passenger number of 9 was overloaded.

According to the Global Times, the two people rescued are receiving hospital treatment and their injuries are not considered life threatening.

The driver is one of the two to survive the crash and is being questioned by police.
