The founder of Christ Apostolic Church Oke Oluwa Sekun Mi Derin in Ode Irele, Irele LGA of Ondo state has been declared wanted for the murder of his church member.
The cleric identified as Elijah Taiwo was said to have invited the deceased from Liseri village for a revival.
However, when the event was cancelled abruptly, Pastor Taiwo was said to have arranged for a motorcycle to take the 60-year-old woman back to her place.
When the victim, Mrs Ajisomo Lawson didn’t return home, her family raised an alarm and reported her missing at the nearby police station.
A search was conducted after which her corpse was found inside a palm plantation near Elijah Taiwo’s church. A family source said the private part, breasts and eyes of the deceased were removed by her killers.
Elijah Taiwo was said to have fled town when the report reached him.
However, police stormed his church and arrested a member of his church in connection with the murder.

The body of the deceased has been taken to Ode Irele General Hospital for autopsy.
