A really chilling CCTV footage has shown disturbing footage of an alleged killer disguised in a burka moments before the rape and murder of a young boy.
According to Daily Star UK, Azan Majid Janjua, 11, was taken from outside a mosque in Abu Dhabi after attending a Quran reading and afternoon prayers during Ramadan last week.
Local media outlet Gulf News reports that the suspected killer, pictured in the above video, posed as a woman in a burka as he knew the boy would not leave the area with a man without asking his parents.
The clip shows the pair emerge into the lobby of an apartment block, waiting for a number of seconds until an elevator arrives.
The person in the video is then seen leading the boy into the lift, before they disappear from view as the short clip ends.
Azan’s half-n*ked body was discovered by air-conditioning engineers on the roof of the building on May 31 with his Quran beside him.
“He was fasting and he went to the mosque for Asr prayers and Quran recitation and then went missing,” Dr Majid Janjua, the boy’s father, said.
“I was shocked to know that AC technicians, who went to our building’s rooftop to check a malfunctioning chiller, found his body there around 10am.
“His body was half-naked. His Quran was beside him.”
The suspect, believed to be a Pakistani immigrant to Abu Dhabi, a city in the United Arab Emirates, was arrested less than 48 hours after the discovery of Azan’s body.
He has confessed to the crime and is said to be known to the family of the victim.
