A family has revealed the tragic death of a three-year-old toddler on her birthday after she ran into the road and got knocked down by an oncoming vehicle. The victim, Jayda Handy, was killed at about 2pm yesterday, August 6, 2016, while she ran to meet her grandfather near North 84th and West Marion streets in Milwaukee. She was immediately rushed to a children's hospital where she later died.
Fox 6 reports that the birthday party had continued after her death, as her family believes that was what the tot would have wanted. The police revealed that the driver of the car which had killed little Jayda, had stayed stayed after the accident and had been totally cooperative, helping with the investigation.
