An Islamic Religion teacher, Mallam Mas’udu Yakubu, has been arrested following his brutal maltreatment of his student in Nabahani Sheka, Kano State.
According to reports, an eye witness identified as Rariya said that Yakubu meted the inhuman treatment on the student, on the grounds that he was allegedly roaming around.
Confirming the incident, Nabahani Usman, a Hisbah police officer, said the teacher has been arrested and prosecution process has since commenced.
